Barry and Stuart — Show & Tell
Barry and Stuart perform wonder-invoking, laughter-inducing, awe-inspiring magic. Stylistically dark and weird, they are creepy, cool and funny.

The stars of BBC’s The Magicians and winners of the World Magic Awards: Best Comedy Illusionists, open our Isle of Arts Festival on Friday 19 April by daring to do what no other magicians have done before.

First, they will entertain you with their their trademark innovative tricks and devious illusions that have won praise from the likes of Derren Brown. In the second half, be prepared to be amazed as they exclusively reveal all the secrets behind the magic.

Howard Marks — The Score
We will continue to challenge your expectations, albeit in a slightly different vein, later on Friday evening when Howard Marks joins us for the post 9pm watershed.

To say that Howard has taken a different route to most of us would be an understatement. He has worked with the British secret services, the CIA and the Mafia. He was once busted by the American Drug Enforcement Agency and subsequently spent seven years in one of the USA’s toughest federal penitentiaries.

These days the best-selling author and raconteur makes crime pay by writing fiction. Howard will be revealing more about his latest crime thriller, The Score, published 4 April, and sharing stories from his own life. A life that is definitely stranger than fiction.

Parental guidance – these shows are not suitable for children under 14 years old.
