Missing person search ends with discovery of body at Culver

The CP are reporting that a man’s body has been discovered on the rocks beneath Culver Cliff tonight.

Police called on the help of both the Ventnor and Bembridge Coastguard teams after a man was reported missing.

Bembridge RNLI and Sandown and Shanklin Independent lifeboat crews assisted in the recovery of the man’s body. They say he was discovered around 8.45pm this evening.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased.
