Lots of authors write short stories, and lots of people love to read short stories, but there are very few opportunities for writers to read their stories out loud to an audience, and even fewer chances for people to hear stories read to them by the original authors.
The Friends of Ryde Library are putting on an evening of Short Stories on Friday 26th September.
Come and listen to local authors reading their work, or if you write stories yourself, you can read one of your own stories, and you can bring your friends too.
There will be a charge at the door of £2.50 for the FoRL funds, and we will be providing refreshments. Doors will open at 6:30pm, and the readings will start at 7pm.
