Tickets holders for the Pasha Kovalev Winter Gardens show that was recently postponed have been informed the show will still go ahead, but at Medina Theatre in Newport.
The change of venue came to light today after an OnTheWight reader shared the following message sent to him,
We’re writing to inform you of a change of venue for STRICTLY COME DANCING’S PASHA KOVALEV on 26/05/2015. The event will now take place at Medina Theatre, Isle Of Wight.
All ticket(s) remain valid for the new venue.
Medina Theatre confirmed that Pasha would be performing on 26th May.
Dispute over reasons for postponement
OnTheWight received a call from the promoter earlier this week. He disputed the reason given by the Winter Gardens management for the last minute postponement of the show.
OnTheWight had been informed by the venue the postponement was due to “a piece of missing equipment that was required for the show”.
The promoter vehemently disputed this saying,
“If I’ve done something wrong, I’m happy to put my hands up, but in this case it was not our fault.”
