Live coverage of the 2016 Budget consultation meeting

The Isle of Wight council is facing a £17.36m budget gap in 2016/17 due to drastic cuts from Government funding. As well as facing that challenge, in 2017/18 they will have to cut another £10m from Isle of Wight services.

Tonight (Monday), Councillors and officers will be holding a public meeting to discuss the budget and set out their position.

Mobile reception permitting, OnTheWight will be covering the meeting live. Follow the updates below. A copy of the presentation is embedded at the bottom of the article for those unable to attend.
