A Review of the Week’s News (Podcast)

We experiment with a weekly news roundup podcast. Let us know what you think of the format.

We thought we’d do a recorded discussion about the news of the last seven days – to see how it works and if this is something that might happen on a weekly basis.

A Review of the Week's News (Podcast)Laurence and Steve came over to join us for a chat on Friday evening to talk over the latest news stories.

Not surprisingly the discussion was dominated by two big items – the Isle of Wight council’s proposed cuts and the controversy over David Pugh’s expletives the previous Friday night.

We also touched on the erosion of the Military Road.

Lawrence stayed for most of the chat, but had to head off after about an hour.

We’re still learning if this format works; if it’s too long; if there should be a better structure to it; what we should change – so we’d really appreciate if you’d contact us to let us know what you think.

Really interesting comments about the coastal roads. Indeed, the value of this back route is more than the sum of the parts and the knock on effect of allowing it to be abandoned cannot be underestimated.
