A royal result for owner of stolen dog following OnTheWight appeal

An appeal to OnTheWight readers on Wednesday afternoon to locate a stolen dog that had been sold to someone on the Isle of Wight has resulted in the best news ever for the owner Marshalee Bartley.

English Bullmastiff, Prince, was stolen earlier this year in Bromley. The thieves admitted to police they’d sold the dog to someone from the Island so Marshalee got in touch with OnTheWight to see whether our readers could help.

Positive result
Late last night, Marshalee got back in touch to say,

Hi Sally

Just to let you know that as a result of your appeal, a lady contacted me to say she has my dog…

We spoke at length and agreed for me to come to the Isle of Wight to collect him on Sunday.

We will be giving her the reward.

Thanks a million xx Marshalee

Well done Isle of Wight Community, sharing OnTheWight’s post far an wide resulted in this dog finally being reunited with its rightful owner.
