The Principal said students had not only demonstrated great potential in terms of their academic capabilities, but shown huge resilience, giving incredible support to one another through all of the challenges they have faced
The headteacher said he hoped students can appreciate that the results they've achieved are a demonstration of the potential success ahead for each of them

Cllr Debbie Andre says it would be wrong to make direct comparisons with results from previous years and commends Year 11 and post-16 students for working so hard ahead of sitting these exams
Head Master of Ryde School said pupils have "certainly earned these results and parents and teachers, who have worked alongside them in these challenging times, should happily join in the celebrations"
The Cabinet Member said she was also deeply grateful to all secondary school staff for the additional work they have shouldered this year to ensure pupils could be properly assessed for their GCSEs
