Cllr Ian Ward was elected as Isle of Wight councillor for Sandown in 
May 2013.
He was elected as Chairman of the Isle of Wight council in 2013.
He served two terms in this position.
He became Executive member for Transport and infrastructure (including car parking) in January 2017.
