There was a great deal of excitement on the Isle of Wight yesterday (and beyond) as the first new Class 484 Island Line train arrived. See the video and photos within
Island Line Trains are the Isle of Wight’s only commercial rail provider.
The service runs from Ryde Pier head in the north of the Island, to Shanklin towards the south.
It’s a vital lifeline, providing a swift connection to means to exit to the Mainland, via the FastCat or Hover.
