An operation to disrupt the sale and supply of illegal tobacco and alcohol in Southampton has uncovered more than 8,000 cigarettes, 5.7 kilos of hand-rolling tobacco and 500 litres of alcohol.
An operation with tugs is taking place to try and rescue the cargo ship which became grounded on the Brambles sandbank at the weekend. It is being moved to Portsmouth rather than Southampton but won't affect the ports.
