We’d like to extend a warm welcome to Ventnorian, Alex Welsford who joins the VentnorBlog team today.
Medina High School student Alex, who will be 15 tomorrow (birthday wishes and presents can be sent c/o the VB offices) has a keen interest in writing, so we were happy to help out with his work experience placement.
He’ll be with us this week, working on a piece about the recent increase the student rider (something very close to his heart as a young person using buses to get around the Wight) as well as day to day news, events and even trying his hand at recording and editing podcasts.
As well as a love for writing, Alex is a keen reader, enjoys films and also plays in a band.
We hope that you’ll welcome Alex onto the team and if you happen to see him around town with an audio recorder in hand, do stop and share your views.
