The New Carnival Company are hosting a free Kite Festival tomorrow (Saturday) between 2.30pm and 5.30pm.
Kite workshops have been taking place across the Island over the last few weeks, using biodegradable materials and based upon endangered species on the Isle of Wight.
A kite masterclass also took place to make some larger kites. You can also bring your own kite to fly in the free flying arena and there is a last minute kite workshop taking place as well.
FaT Samba and Bloodstone Morris will be performing and there will be a refreshment marquee with tea and cakes.
It takes place on Bembridge Down, Culver Haven Road, Sandown PO36 8QT (just before Culver Down, above Yaverland).
All are invited to enjoy an afternoon of kite flying and displays.
