If you’re into hedgelaying, whether that’s taking part or spectating, be sure to keep your diary clear for this coming Saturday.
10am sees the 19th Annual Hedgelaying competition kick off, and it promises to be a great day for all involved.
This year the event is being held at Calbourne Mill and there’s still time to enter, if you have the tools and inclination to take part.
As usual, the competition is being organised by The Isle of Wight Hedgerow Group with support from Landscape Therapy, Hampshire and IW Wildlife Trust, the IW AONB Partnership and the Isle of Wight Council.
