Ventnor Library are inviting entries to their latest photographic competition – celebrating the wildlife and landscape of the Isle of Wight! Enter colour or black and white photographs of the Island’s wildlife and landscapes and you could win a prize.
There are two categories,
- Ages 7-15 with a prize of £30 Waterstones voucher
- Ages 16+ with a prize of £50 Waterstones voucher
Amateur photographers only and one entry per person. Prints only. The closing date is 30 September 2015. Send or bring your entries into Ventnor Library.

Fairy Workshop with Jules Marriner
Come along and make a fairy door and listen to Jules Marriner reading her book “Fairy Bonce”
It takes place on Friday 7 August at 2pm and is a free event.
Minecraft Club
Presents Minecraft artist Chris Gutteridge. Come along and meet Minecraft artist Chris Gutteridge and marvel at his Ventnor Minecraft world! Chris is giving FREE memory sticks of his model Ventnor build. Prizes, certificates to be won, activities and games to play.

This takes place on Saturday 8 August between 2-3pm and is a free event.
Storytime with Jules Marriner
Come along have some fun with stories and crafts, make an owl and listen to Jules reading from her new book Bluebell’s New School.
