News reaches us that Andy Jones will be DJing at the Festival in a couple of weeks time.
The organisers are playing it safe though, giving him not only Saturday morning (11am to 1pm) to spin his latin, nu-jazz, broken beat vinyl, but also the same slot on the Sunday morning (just in case you miss the first) where he’ll be playing just the kind of music you’ll want to wake up to after a heavy Saturday night party – ambient, chill out and down-tempo.
Where to find him? Head for the The Babylon Bar.
As well as spinning the tuneage, Andy has been creating his own music since 1986. He plays with Cooly Haste and still finds time to teach lots of budding musical artists.
If you’re not planning on going to the festival and want to hear Andy play out, fear not, as he’s also playing on Friday 16th June at the Studio where he’ll be taking along all his favourite nu-jazz and broken beat records.
Don’t forget that 1000 extra tickets for the festival will be up for sale this coming Sunday morning from 9am at HMV in Newport and Libertys Cafe Bar in Ryde.
