Excellent news for all those youngsters out there on the Island who want to channel some of their creative energy and have their work seen by all Bestival-goers.
Maeve Smith is holding free workshops at the Jubilee Stores in Newport over four Saturday afternoons and inviting anyone aged 8 and over to go and contribute towards the creation of a small-scale terracotta Bestival to be exhibited at the real thing this September!
All the Bestival site areas will be represented – the Main Stage, Kids’ Area, Healing Area, Boutique Camping (yurts, tipis etc), Fancy Dress parade, Bollywood lounge – and so on!
Places are limited to 10 FREE on each workshop, so booking ahead is essential to get a place.
