Angel Radio, the Island’s first community radio station, is delighted to announce that it has been granted a further five year extension to its FM licence. This means that we will be able to continue to broadcast until at least 23rd March 2022 – finances permitting!
We are absolutely thrilled to be able to play our unique brand of music to our wonderful listeners for another five years.
Support of listeners
We were really short of funds this year and our fantastic Angel Family have really come up trumps and sent in donations to cover almost enough to pay for the first of the year’s licence fees.
We have been given a custom–built second studio by WightFibre, which we are fitting out at the moment and hope that we will soon be able to begin to produce many more specialist shows and the studio will also be available for training new presenters.
