See Anna Wardley’s timetable for her round the Island swim

Subject to weather and tides, tomorrow (Friday) Anna Wardley intends to set off on her mammoth swim around the Isle of Wight. All in aid of charity.

The endurance swimmer hopes to complete the swim in around 30 hours and is raising money for the Samaritans, Sail Africa and Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.

For those of you interested in charting her progress, the timetable below should give you a rough idea of where Anna will be at what time.

1015: Anna walks off Ryde Sands to start swimming just east of the Pier at 1030
1330: off Cowes Seafront
1530: off Yarmouth
1630-1730: Alum Bay, Needles, Scratchells Bay all viewed from Needles Viewpoint
2215-0015: St Catherine’s Viewpoint
0045-0545: in, off or around Ventnor
0745: Luccombe Bay
0845: Yaverland Beach
0915: pass under Culver Cliff
1015: off Bembridge
1045: St Helens Fort
1145: Seaview
1245-1315: Anna clears the water to finish at Ryde Sands
