Readers may remember that earlier in the year, the crew from BBC2’s Antiques Road Trip were filming on the Isle of Wight.
This week sees the episodes when James Braxton and Charles Hanson hunt for bargains in their classic car on a “grand trip from Somerset across to the Isle of Wight and down to Cornwall”.
Tuesday (9th October) sees the trip across the Solent when Charles Hanson visits Shanklin Collectors Centre.
John at Shanklin Collectors Centre told On The Wight that Charles “was a very nice man, who the crew all love.” We understand he purchased some coins from John and those were sold at Shanklin Auction Rooms, which will also feature in the episode.
