Appeal for witnesses following assault at Newport Bus Station

Police on the Isle of Wight are appealing for witnesses after a fight was reported at Newport Bus Station in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, October 13.

At about 1.40am a 19-year-old man was injured whilst attempting to break up a fight between two groups of people at the No. 5 bus stand.

He suffered facial injuries and needed hospital treatment for cuts to his eye after he was knocked to the ground and repeatedly punched and kicked.
