Police investigating a public order offence are appealing for witnesses following a disturbance on the Number 8 bus travelling to Ryde from Newport on Friday, July 26.

At around 10.40pm the bus driver of the No. 8 stopped at Alexandria Road in Ryde and a group of youths travelling on the upper deck of the bus were asked to get off due to the disruptive nature of their behaviour.

The group continued to cause trouble once off of the bus and the police are interested in hearing from anyone was travelling on the bus at that time who may have witnessed the incident.
