Police in Cowes are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a man close to the skate park at Park Road, Cowes.
The incident happened in the early hours of the morning at about 1.00am, on Saturday, December 8.
A 20-year-old man suffered facial injuries in the attack.
A 24-year-old man was later arrested and is on bail until 21st February 2013 pending further enquiries.
