Appeal For Witnesses To Bus Station Assault

BinocularsPolice are appealing for witnesses after a fight involving two men was reported at Newport bus station on the Isle of Wight.

Officers were called to South Street in the town shortly after 3pm on Saturday, June 9, 2012.

The men involved received face and hand injuries.

A 44-year-old man from Freshwater and a 43-year-old man from Newport were both arrested on suspicion of affray. They were questioned and later bailed until July 10, 2012.
