Can you help with this appeal from the Police for two missing teenagers? Ed

Police are appealing for information to find two teenage friends on the Isle of Wight.

xxxx and xxxx, both aged 16, were reported missing from xxx’s grandparents’ house in Ryde on the Isle of Wight last night (Wednesday, October 28, 2009).

It is believed they left the address together without informing family where they were going.

The last sighting of both teenagers together was at approximately 1.00pm this afternoon (Thursday, October 29, 2009) in the Binstead area of Ryde, Isle of Wight.

Hampshire Constabulary Isle of Wight Targeted Patrol Team (TPT) Inspector Kate Fowles said: “We believe these two teenagers are still on the Isle of Wight at the moment. Both families are naturally concerned about their whereabouts, and I would appeal to xxx and xxxx directly to contact relatives or the police as soon as possible to reassure them you are both safe and well. We are also keen to hear from any members of the public who think they may have seen either of these teenagers.”

Anyone with information or a possible sighting is asked to contact Ryde Police Station by phoning 101. Mini-Com users can call 01962 875000.
