Fans of the BBC quiz show ‘Eggheads’ will be pleased to hear that the show will shortly be returning to the box for an 11th Series.
A return of the show also means a search for more teams to battle against the resident quiz show Goliaths and VB has been approached by the production company to help spread the word.

So, if you fancy yourself as an egghead, why not get together with five others to form a team and audition for the challenge.
You don’t have to be an existing quiz team, the only criteria is that you must know each other, you can be friends, family or work colleagues.
Who will you be up against?
The ‘Eggheads’ are made up of six champions from various quiz shows and include;
- Judith Keppel (the first person to win a million pounds on ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’)
- Kevin Ashman (three time World Quiz Champion – who has the highest ever score on Mastermind with no passes)
- C.J De Mooi (a winner on the Weakest Link & Beat the Nation)
- Daphne Fowler (one of the few women to win the ‘Brain of Britain’ title and she’s won the Grand Final of 15 to 1, twice!)
- Chris Hughes (reigning Brain of Britain AND International Mastermind Champion)
- Barry Simmons (Winner of Are You An Egghead and Mastermind Semi-Finalist)
What happens next?
If there is enough interest, auditions will be arranged in the Portsmouth area in mid July Auditions have been arranged on the Isle of Wight for week commencing 20th July (exact date and venue tbc).
