New Fostering Scheme Seeks FamiliesIsle of Wight Council’s Fostering and Adoption Team will be visiting various towns across the Island in May as part of this year’s Fostering Fortnight.

The annual event is being held between 16 – 29 May and a large trailer will be staffed by fostering and adoption officers alongside carers.

They will be available to speak to during the day and anyone who registers their interest will be invited to an open evening held later in the summer.

The trailer can be found at the following locations between 1000 and 1500 each day:

Foster Care Fortnight, co-ordinated by the Fostering Network, is an annual UK-wide awareness campaign which raises the profile of fostering and highlights the need for more foster carers.
