Island residents and those on the mainland with a view of Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth will be able to view it in a blue light on January 30th thanks to Girlguiding IW’s Island Commissioner Deborah Meadows.
A milestone for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award on the Island was reached recently at the presentation ceremony held in Ryde when Lewis Coulter, who worked for his Award via Sandown Bay Academy, became the 200th recipient of the coveted Gold Award.
1st Parkhurst Rainbows recently had a joint sleepover with 1st East Cowes Rainbows, whilst Brownies from the Osborne Section got together to have a Christmas Funday.
