Floating bridge not affected
VB reader Allan Marsh got in touch to let is know that despite the bad weather the floating bridge is not affected.
He said, “Good news is the weather has not, I repeat not affected the chain ferry, sometimes old technology is the best. Just two guys, a length of old chain and an old tub, working to keep East and West open. Well done to all who are working to keep us able to work.”
