As has been all over the National news, BAE Systems announced nearly 3,000 potential job losses across the UK yesterday.
We’ve got some good news for the Isle of Wight – we got in touch with BAE Head Office this morning and they tell VB that, “there are no jobs impacted on the Isle of Wight by yesterday’s announcement.”
Sad for other places in the UK, but glad that the Island won’t be hit.
