Bag-making for the RSPCA today

Today in the Ventnor Co-operative, the store staff are going to be busy, busy, busy.

They’ll not necessarily be busy stacking shelves or sorting fruit and vegetables, but busy at the front of the store sewing.

Sewing?

Yes, they’ll be machining together canvas bags to give away to customers in return for donations that will go to RSPCA Godshill.

Locals will remember the Morsbags campaign that was launched many years ago in the town. It’s good to see that the ethos of replacing use of plastic bags continues.
