Local photographer Barbara Roscoe is a woman who likes to keep herself busy.
It was only last November that she published a book featuring verse and photographs from the Island and now we hear that she has just published another.
This time it’s a book of stories and anecdotes from Bed and Breakfast owners on the Island.
Barbara is herself a former B&B owner, experiencing all manner of situations over the years, so knew there would be lots of great stories out there. She accompanies the words with her own original photography which you can get a sneak preview of online.
Barbara told us “Having laughed and cried over many of my own experiences running a small B&B in Ventnor; I thought it would be really fun to get others to share their stories with me.
“I would like to thank those whose tales appear in this book: they were all very generous with their time and I hope that they are rewarded by increased business.”
