Those who attended the public meeting for the proposed Asphalt Plant back at the beginning of the month will remember that a hand-out (embedded below for your convenience) was distributed by representatives for Eurovia (the applicant).
Certain claims were made in the handout about about Bardon Vectis – who have an application in with the council to upgrade their existing Asphalt Plant at Blackwater.
On The Wight has received a copy of a letter sent by Mr Westell from Aggregate Industries (they own Bardon Vectis) to Cowes Town Council. In this letter (embedded below) Mr Westell refutes those claims made by Eurovia in relation to their intentions with their application.
