We noticed in our ‘From Previous Years’ feed (a way down on the right hand column) that three years ago today, one of our stories focused on our Flickr Group members experimenting with the tilt shift photography process.
It reminded us of how the BBC (who we’re told now read VB daily) picked up on another tilt shift story we wrote earlier this year and got in touch with local photographer David Yates – he’s the guy who first introduced us to the process.
Dave was interviewed by BBC reporter Indy Almroth-Wright and featured on the BBC Hampshire Website.
It feels really good to know that by being on VB, we can help Island talent get noticed.
Do pop over to the BBC Hampshire site to check out the BBC article by Indy Almroth-Wright, it’s a great read.
Also worth checking out Dave’s site – he’s got some fantastic shots on there which you can also buy.
