Thanks to Brian for reminding OnTheWight readers of this event taking place at the weekend. Ed
This popular Open Gardens weekend event is staged again this year on Saturday and Sunday 14th July.
Every summer twelve villagers lovingly prepare their interesting gardens to be visited and admired.
The owners are on hand to discuss their gardening tips and some sell plants for local charities. Every year there are new gardens to see.
You may plan your visit over the two days, but be sure to take in a strawberry cream tea opposite the pond.
Entry is £5 to cover both days, or £1 to visit just one garden. Gardens open 1pm-5pm.
Tickets available at each garden or from opposite the pond.
