Bedlam Dance Company Presents: Doing Done and Undone

Quay Arts presents the unique and critically acclaimed Bedlam Dance Company’s latest piece, ‘Doing, Done and Undone’ in the Anthony Minghella Theatre on Thu 5 Mar, 8pm.

Bedlam Dance Company Presents: Doing Done and UndoneDoing, Done and Undone is the newest work from Yael Flexer’s critically acclaimed Bedlam Dance Company.

Constructed as a triptych and danced by six superb performers, Doing, Done and Undone is a dance that gradually unfurls. Doing, Done and Undone, brings together an exceptional team of dancers and collaborators. Working with digital artist Nic Sandiland, lighting designer Michael Mannion and composers Karni Postel, and Nye Parry, this 6 strong international group of dancers explore the specially commissioned electro-acoustic score which intricately weaves both Hebrew and Arabic voices with string instrumentation.

Moving from the functional to the frenetic it considers the ways in which we are inevitably tied to one another. Blending fast-paced intricate choreography, and an informal sense of humour, Doing, Done & Undone questions what we do to others, what is done to us and how this makes us come undone.

Bedlam Dance Company will be working with the Isle of Wight Art’s Youth Dance Group in the days preceding the performance to create with them a short performance piece. The Youth Dance Company will then open the show by performing their work at Quay Arts on 5th March, preceding the performance by Bedlam.
