Bembridge Fort Trust have announced a photography competition for both amateur and professional photographers.
The event takes place during a special four-hour open morning at Bembridge Fort on Saturday 23rd August 2025, offering rare access to almost the entire site.
Limited places available
Only 40 places are available, and booking in advance through the Trust’s website is required.
The event is not open to anyone under the age of 16.
A short orientation and history tour will be provided at the start, and photographs may be taken during the tour.
Refreshments will also be available. Gates open at 10am, last photo to be taken by 1.59pm.
Competition details and prizes
Entry to both the competition and the fort for the morning costs £10.
Participants will be able to access all areas except those where engineering works are taking place.
The top prize for the overall winner is £40. There will also be £10 top prizes for each category.
Photographers may submit up to three photos for each category.
An independent judge will view all images anonymously and select the overall winner from any category.
Submitting entries
All competition photos must be emailed to the Trust before midnight on the Saturday evening of the event.
