We love a good competition and this latest one from Dimbola Museum and Galleries is a corker.

Long beardsThey’re on the hunt for some of the best examples of bohemian beards to shoot and feature in a mini-exhibition.

They say that up to eight shortlisted nominees will get to have their portrait made in the Victorian technique of Wet Plate Collodion and three friends get to attend to watch the process in action each time.

Cash prize of £250
The portraits will be shown in a mini exhibition at Dimbola Museum and Galleries this May and the overall winner voted for by visitors, also gets a cash prize of £250.
