Bestival is not just about the live bands, head honcho Rob Da Bank always manages to pull together a quality lineup of DJs to keep you dancing throughout the night and this year is no exception.
With so many names travelling across the pond, we’re wondering whether Bestival will be hiring a private jet to transport the stars this year.
Joining the likes of MGMT and Fleet Foxes in crossing the water will be one man who should have a field day on Dinosaur Isle (or will that be field trip?).
Making his way over from Philadelphia in the good ‘ole U S of A will be DJ, producer and songwriter, Diplo, otherwise known as Diplodocus, a name chosen for his love of dinosaurs.
This is a massive coup, as the funk-carioca legend headlines the Big Top on Saturday night, brutalising the bass bins with his Mad Decent Soundsystem (featuring Buraka Som Sistema).
The A-class list of DJs continues with the likes of Fabio & Grooverider, London Elektricity, Rob da Bank, Zane Lowe, Annie Mac Presents, Huw Stephens, Derrick Carter, DJ Yoda, Fake Blood, Gilles Peterson, Friction, Tayo, Johnno (Bugged Out), Skream, DJ Derek, Monsters At Work DJs Present The Psychedelic Sounds of Monsterism Island, Beardyman, Coley (Luv Jam), Rusko, Boy 8-Bit and Major Lazer.
