Blast from the Past: Two days of free entry to Dinosaur Isle

The Friends of Dinosaur Isle are hosting a two day Blast from the Past event this weekend (12th and 13th November).

Enjoy two days (and an evening) of fascinating activities hosted by experts in their field.

What to expect
Discover fossils, prehistoric funds and other ancient artefacts from the Isle of Wight, Solent area and beyond.

From flint axe heads to dinosaur bones, to the smallest of fossil insects. Chat to palaeontologists, natural historians and local collectors and take along your fossils and finds for identification.

There’ll be children’s activities, including face-painting, fossil-sorting and model making.

Free entry
There’ll be free entry to Dinosaur Isle both days between 10am to 4pm and there’s evening a special meal and lectures on Saturday night (although you need to let them know asap if you want to attend).
