Body found at Culver Cliff (updated)

There was devastating news for family and friends this morning, after emergency crews were tasked with the recovery of a body at the bottom of Culver Cliff, Yaverland.

Coastguard crews were called to assist at around 5am this morning (Monday).

No details have yet been released by the police, but they confirm an update is expected shortly.

Police are investigating the sudden death of a man whose body was discovered on the beach below Culver Cliff.

The man’s vehicle was located on the beach at around 5.30am today (Monday, December 8).

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
