Police searching for missing man Sam Perkis can confirm a body has been found in the Playstreet Lane area of Ryde on the Isle of Wight.
The police control room received a call shortly after 12pm today (Wednesday, October 24, 2012).
Sam Perkis’s immediate family have been informed.
Formal identification procedures on the body have not been completed yet.
Police would like to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance with the search.
The discovery of the body is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
