Organisers have unveiled the next wave of shows for this summer’s Ventnor Fringe Festival, along with details of an exciting new venue.
Running from 18th to 27th July 2025, the festival promises ten packed days of performance, music and surprises.
Historic new venue joins the line-up
This year also will see the Bosco Theatre, a striking new venue with a rich history, replace the Magpie Tent in the Fringe Village (Ventnor Park).
Built in 1909 by Hannes Ophof, this original Dutch “kermis” tent served as a travelling family circus across the Netherlands.

The Jansen family have carefully preserved the tent since 2000 and will bring it to the Isle of Wight especially for the festival.
Wide range of performances
The programme for Ventnor Fringe 2025 includes comedians, brand new plays and late-night clown shows.
Fringe favourites, such as Ahir Shah, Drunk Women Solving Crime and Pick of the Fringe sell out fast so make sure you grab your tickets soon.
Festival-goers can also look forward to a brand new Fringe Club, hosting gigs and DJs every night, with many acts already listed on the programme.
Full programme due in April
The full programme will be released at the end of April, but booking is open now for more than 55 shows.
You can view the line-up and book through the newly updated online booking system.
