Brading woman charged with multiple stalking offences

A woman has been charged with stalking offences in Brading.

Police have been investigating a series of incidents alleged to have occurred between 25th May and 14th September this year.

Following enquiries, a 54-year-old woman from Brading, was charged with the following:

  • Stalking involving serious alarm or distress – relating to pursuing a course of conduct amounting to stalking against a man between 25th May and 14th September this year.
  • Stalking involving serious alarm or distress – relating to pursuing a course of conduct amounting to stalking against a woman between 26th June and 14th September this year.
  • Sending by public communication network an offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message to a man on 20 June this year.

She has been remanded in custody to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court today (14th September).
