Brighstone Summer Sizzler This Weekend

Nearly time for the return of the Brighstone Summer Sizzler, which takes place on 23 July between 6-10pm.

Thanks to Wendy for sharing details of the forthcoming Brighstone Summer Sizzler. Let’s hope the title ensures sizzling weather. In her own words. Ed

Brighstone School Association is holding its popular Summer Sizzler on Saturday 23 July, from 6-10pm on the school field.

It’s a fun-packed evening, with live music from The Moonshiners (featuring some of the best blues musicians on the island, and fronted by Brighstone’s own Dave Hollis) and The Herd (who hail from Briddlesford Farm, appropriately).

Plus DJ Alan Stone, Zumba with Mary Snow, bouncy castle, inflatable joust, toys for sale, bar, food stalls (BBQ, veggie, salads, cakes), and a prize raffle.

Entry price: £3 per adult, £2 per child, under 5s free.

Tickets are available from the school office (tel: 740285), Brighstone Village Shop, or on the gate.

Brighstone School Association (charity no. 1043555), raises funds to benefit the pupils of Brighstone Primary School by providing extra opportunities and facilities that aren’t covered by the main school budget.
