Bruce Webb’s ‘The Be All and End All’ Selected for International Film Festivals

What a talented bunch of people we have living here on the Isle of Wight.

News reaches us today that Island based film director, Bruce Webb (one of the founders of the IOW Short Film Festival) is responsible for producing and directing a new film (The Be All and End All) that has just been confirmed as reaching the official selection of the Chicago, Rome and Seville Film Festivals.

The feature length film written by Steve Lewis and Tony Owen tells the story of fifteen year old Robbie who has only one thing on his mind – losing his virginity. The problem is that he’s in hospital with a fatal heart condition. And who has to overcome the odds and help him fulfill his final wish? His best friend

Bruce made his first 35mm feature at the age of 25 and has gone onto to create many award winning short flms. He currently directs drama and comedy for BBC1 and Channel 4.

All at VB wish Bruce the best of luck with the film in the festivals and would love to see a screening of it on the Island.
