The outcome of the latest food hygiene inspections of Isle of Wight’s food businesses have been revealed.
Inspections carried out by Isle of Wight council environmental health officers have rated restaurants, schools and food production companies in line with the Food Standards Agency.
Eateries are ranked on across three categories — hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities as well as food safety management.
Scores are then given on a scale from 0 (‘Urgent Improvement Necessary’) to 5 (‘Very Good’).
