Southern Vectis bus in St James's Square

Bus company’s Community Fund open to applications from Isle of Wight charities, schools, sports teams and event organisers

Southern Vectis is once again offering its support to local charities, schools, sports teams and events organisers, by opening up its community fund for applications.

The local bus operator’s Community Fund is a dedicated resource for backing local causes with funding, marketing help, free travel or the use of its buses for events.

Tyldsley: Southern Vectis Community Fund is open to everyone
Southern Vectis general manager, Richard Tyldsley, said,

“We play an integral role within our local community, providing bus services across the Island – and that means a lot to our team.

“In addition to all this, we want to support and raise awareness for those doing excellent work on behalf of those living here.

“The Southern Vectis Community Fund is open to everyone – from charities to sports teams – and we encourage anyone who needs a helping hand, however big or small, to apply.”

The Southern Vectis Community Fund will donate funding and support during May and November.
