As we mentioned earlier in the week, tomorrow (Saturday) sees the return of the Newport Carnival.
Southern Vectis have been in touch to let VB readers know about the various bus diversions that’ll be in place during the Children’s Carnival taking place between 11:45 & 12:15.
Diversion for route 1 into Newport is Hunny hill, left into Hunnycross Way, left into River Way, right onto Medina Way, Coppins Bridge, St Georges Way, right into St Georges Approach, right into Church Litten and Terminate.
Other diversions
Diversion for route 7 into Newport is Carisbrooke Road, right into Cedar Hill, left into Whitepit Lane, left into St John’s Road, right into Medina Avenue, left into Church Litten and terminate
Route 7 when departing towards Yarmouth you operate right between Morrison’s and M & S, right into St Georges Approach, Medina Avenue, St James Street, Trafalgar Road, left into Carisbrooke Road to continue liner of route
Routes 2, 3, 8 and 38 are to terminate in Church Litten
Route 5 and 9 towards Newport is Coppins Bridge, St Georges Way, right into St Georges Approach, right into Church Litten and Terminate.
