Tonight (Wednesday) sees the return of the Sandown Illuminated Carnival.
As you’d expect there’ll be bus diversions in place. The carnival takes place between 9pm until around 11pm.
Route 3 from 9pm will operate along the full length of The Broadway, left into Avenue Road to continue line of route. Diversions operate in both directions.
Other routes
Route 8 and Island Coaster from 6pm will operate from Victoria Road, left into Avenue Road, right into Fort Street, left into Culver Parade to continue line of route. Diversions operate in both directions.
Route 8 from 9pm will operate along the full length of The Broadway, right into Avenue Road, left into Fort Street, left into Culver Parade to continue line of route, wait time at the Culver Parade stop. Diversions operate in both directions.
The Sandown Breezer from 5.45pm towards Sandown Zoo is Melville Street, left into Fitzroy Street, right into Station Avenue, left into Albert Road, right into Victoria Road, left into Avenue Road, right into Fort Street, left into Culver Parade to continue line of route.
